Yeadon Fire Department and assisting companies responded to a building fire. Fire was contained to one room with minimal fire damage. Crews secured the power to the building, conducted a full search of the building and then ventilated the smoke condition.

Yeadon Fire Department investigated a possible gas leak. Crews checked the area and gas monitoring devices found no leaks.

Yeadon Fire Department and assisting companies responded to a building fire at the Parkview Common Apartments. Upon arrival, crews found a heavy smoke condition as a result of unattended cooking. There was no fire at the time of the arriving Fire Companies. Crews searched the building and provided ventilation of the smoke.

Yeadon Fire Department assisted Lansdowne Fire Department with a building fire. The fire was located at High School. Crews found a heater on fire, extinguished the fire and ventilated the building.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with injuries at Lansdowne Ave and Providence Road. Upon arrival, crews found a 2 vehicle accident with one minor injury. No services were needed from the Fire Department.

Yeadon Fire Department assisted Darby Fire Companies with a building fire. Crews assisted with the extinguishment, evacuation and investigation of the fire. Crews were in service for approximately 2 ½ hours.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to a multiple vehicle accident at Baily Road and Industrial Park Drive. Upon arrival, crews found a 3 vehicle accident with two injuries. Crews assisted medical personnel with the extrication of the injured persons. After providing assistance to medical personnel, crews provided clean up from the accident debris.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to a hazardous condition in the 000 block of Bullock Ave. Upon arrival, crews found a large tree blocking the roadway and leaning against wires. PECO removed the tree from the wires and Yeadon Highway Department removed the tree from the roadway.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to Parkview Common Apartments for a building fire. Upon arrival, crews found a stove fire that was extinguished by the resident prior to the arrival of the Fire Department. Crews ventilated the building and Yeadon Fire Marshall investigated the fire.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with a fuel leak at Church Lane and Cedar Avenue. Crews contained the leak and provided clean up from the accident.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to a motor vehicle accident at W. Cobbs Creek Parkway and Fern St. Upon arrival, crews found a one vehicle accident, vehicle into the woods. There were was no one injured in the accident. Crews assisted with clean up after the accident.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to a carbon monoxide detector activation. Upon arrival, crews investigated the detector activation with gas monitoring devices. There was no signs of carbon monoxide in the residence.

Yeadon Fire Department assisted Lansdowne Fire Department with a building fire. Upon arrival, crews found unattended cooking with a smoke condition. Crews provided ventilation of the building.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to the Parkview Common Apartments for a dumpster fire. Upon arrival, crews determined there was no exposure to the rear of the property and crews extinguished the fire.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to a building fire in the 600 block of Cypress Street. Upon arrival, crews found heavy fire from the stove and surrounding areas. Crews searched the residence and found that all occupants had evacuated safely. In addition, crews contained and extinguished the fire without further expansion of the fire. Yeadon Fire Marshall investigated.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to the 900 block of Rundale Ave for an outdoor storage fire. Upon arrival, crews found a large storage unit on fire. In addition, vinyl siding to the rear of the home was found on fire. Crews extinguished the fire and Yeadon Fire Marshall investigated.

Yeadon Fire Department responded with one engine to provide cover service to Lima Fire Department. During the cover assignment, Yeadon Fire Department responded to the scene of the fire in Lima and provided assistance.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to the 500 block of Bonsall Ave for a gas leak. Upon arrival, crews were advised that a contractor struck a plastic gas pipe causing the gas leak. Crews stood by until the arrival of PECO. After PECO secured the leak, crews returned available.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to the 200 block of Baily Road for a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival, crews found a 2 vehicle accident with no injuries. Crews provided clean up service of debris on the road.

April 16, 2011
Yeadon Fire Department responded to the 500 block of Union Ave for a water rescue. Upon arrival, crews found two occupants stuck in a vehicle from the heavy rain water. Crews assisted the occupants out of the vehicle and heavy rain water.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to the 800 block of Fern St. for a building fire. Upon arrival, crews found smoke coming from the first and second floors of the house. Crews determined the fire to be unattended cooking. Crews provided ventilation of the building.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to the 900 block of Longacre Blvd for an investigation of fumes in a residence. Upon arrival, crews determined the odor of fumes was from a leaking gas pipe. PECO responded and secured the gas to the building.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to the 500 block of Church Lane for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival, crews found a two vehicle accident with one minor injury. The crew from Rescue 16 cleaned up the debris on the highway.

Yeadon Fire Department responded to Church Lane and Cedar Ave for a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Upon arrival, crews found a two vehicle accident with two minor injuries. Yeadon Ambulance provided transport of the injured persons and the crew from Rescue 16 provided clean up of the debris on the roadway.

April 2, 2011
Yeadon Fire Department responded to the 700 block of Longacre Blvd for a gas leak inside the residence. Upon arrival, crews found a high reading of natural gas inside the residence utilizing a gas monitoring device. It was determined the leak was coming from the stove and was secured by the crew of Engine 16. After the leak was secured, crews ventilated the building.
